I was overwhelmed the first time I listened but kept coming back for Joanna's distinct voice, eager to piece together my visions of each story being told. Please don't multitask this, she deserves your full attention. Make a cup of tea, sit in your most comfortable chair and let yourself be transported. Every song is an abstract poem and i'm sure the understanding and meaning i've come to attach to them only scratches the surface. "Leaving the city", "Divers" and "Time, as a Symptom" are my personal favourites.
Almost every time I put this on I can't stop and end up listening to the whole 2 hours. Love the music, love the message! I can't wait to see it in person. I already know i'm going to cry my little heart out. Bless whoever made that one Spotify playlist where they have swapped out Chant I and Chant II with the Live Original Cast Recording versions, they were right, it is the best way.
